you would have to call Dan at Andrewtech, or John at http://www.precisiontuning.com/06/ to find out i think you can use the gears but the new syncros i have should be the same as yours unless your syncros are shot. in 06 they made the syncros wider to use the ppg gears in an 06 or 07 you need to you the skinnier syncros from the 02-03 not sure about the 04-05

yeah what type of clutch? upgraded clutches go for $400 or so and up. So that is not really a good deal. the ACT clutches are some of the best but the street disk is garbage it dosen't hold any real power. Also does that include new syncros like I am including because if you are looking to do the gears in an 06-7 and i think the 04-05 you need new the syncros. And is shipping included?

this is what they sent me before by email.

"The PPG helical 1st to 4th gearset would be quite OK for this power level. The current price on the gearset with installation would be $5100. That would include also the cost to install the clutch. As for clutch itself…the Exedy stage 2 clutch kit costs $665. As long as you are OK with the fact this clutch will be harsher and more abrubt (it is not possible to smoothly slip the clutch off the line like an organic type clutch)…then this clutch is ideal for your power level. If the abruptness is a concern than I would go with an ACT stage 1 clutch and try to avoid generating too much heat in the clutch on the launches."

so that price is to install the clutch, does not include the price of the clutch. Whats the phone number and where are they located maybe i will just have them installed. the act stage one does not hold up i know a few guys that have blown them up. The exedy stage 2 is a puck clutch right? if so how many pucks is it and how harsh is it for everyday use

ok, keep me posted. just remember to tell him they are the helicoil with the taller 1st gear and the syncros for an 07 trans. i know the 02-03 you don't have to change the syncros even though if your rebuilding a trans why not do everything. I'm not sure on the 04-05's what size the syncros are
