Default Help with comp sync

Ok, I need some freakin help. I know I've seen it before, but i cant find it right now. I need help putting my AP in sync mode with my computer. It wont allow me to connect right now and im trying to update the firmware so it will work with my 05 WRX. Yes i should have bought an AP for an 05, but realized my mistake after the purchase and im trying to make the best of it. I have the maps already, and the link to up the V1 to new firmware, if i even need to update it, i might just need to put the 05 maps on and be done with it, but problem is still the same, I cant sync with my comp!

EDIT: IM AN IDIOT AND GOT IT TO WORK< MY BAD!

APv1 or APv2?

APv2 is preloaded with current maps...shouldn't be an issue...

You probably figured this out already but here you go...

Click "File" then "open map list folder"

Browse to the location where you saved your maps (base & realtime) and you should be ready to transfer.

Hope that helps...

Nah, that part I knew fine, it still wasnt showing the downloaded maps. I figured it out though. I had the new map manager, but the old one was still loading when i clicked on it. So i had to uninstall both, and reinstall the new version, and it worked fine.
