Is this a good choice for my 1995 1.8L Impreza?
http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...k-subaru-adapt ? Would this fit on and/or be worth doing? What would i do with the breather tube/hose that currently goes into the side of the current stock air filter? Thanks, Jason

Damn, that looks like a pretty freaking good price if it includes the MAF adapter!!!!
Larry sells what looks like basically the same thing for $80! http://www.imprezars.com/product2.htm#mafadapterActually, if you havent already, take the white plastic silencer tube out from the fenderwell that connects to the airbox in the engine bay. It will give you give you a sense of the kind of power the cone filter will give you without loosing as much low-end, and about the same volume and sound too. (thats what I did, since it didnt cost me anything) |

Larry's intake should fit... (ganzflow) and i would totally recommend it... it's designed to utilize the stock airbox...
yet increase air flow slightly.... this way you dont lose power on the low end... and yes... do remove the silencer... but stay out of deep mud or extremely large puddles!!! ![]() Jamie www.subiegal.com |

They should work, maybe might need a little tweaking.
