Ok, so im looking for some 2.5 RS springs or some aftermarket springs to lower my car. Prefferably not too low bc I'll be driving in DC a lot, just something to enhance the looks a bit. If you have pics of ride height and wheel/fender pics, those would be greatly appreciated. Also, Im sorta low on money right now...seems like I never have any...damn apartment and school, but thats a different story for a different time.
![]() Remember, it has to fit a GC, nothing later! Thanks in advance! EDIT: I am now looking for a spring/strut combo that comes assembled already. 2 tries at compressing springs and assembling my strut with just me and a good friend, 2 failed attempts...ran into stupid problems along the way ![]()

How soon do you need to have them? I've got STi V5/6 springs on my car, but am swapping them out for some new P1s I bought. I'm probably going to have Racecomp put them on, whenever I have the chance to get down there.
Anyway I'd want to sell the springs afterward. They're cosmetically not pretty, since I put them on in October '01 and this is a New England car. But they work, and will be cheap. Brand new and shiny black, they were $250ish. 120K miles later and rather rusty brown and flaky, well best offer is fine. ![]() I'm thinking that they'll clean up nicely with sandblasting, then primer/paint. That is, if you care. Anyway, PM me if you're interested. EDIT: Oh, right, pics. This is about the best I can do, for an idea of the ride height. Front drop is mild, the rear is more. Not much wheel gap in the rear, I can't get my fingers in there beyond the tips. But I've done countless road trips in this car, many at 19 hours each way. On my matching STi V5/6 struts it's a little bouncy, but the actual spring rates I think are about 215f/195r so pretty mild, and they'd probably be more friendly on something like a KYB AGX. The STi struts are notorious for being kind of jouncy.![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Siper2; 05-20-2008 at 07:54 AM. |

They're actually from Dan's white wagon, from Mach V racing. He sold them to me when he got his 18"s, I think they were BBSs.

I have eibach pro springs that you can have for $100.
If you bring your stuff to my place, I'll even assemble them for you. I'm a spring compressor ninja. -- Dave |
