yellow primer for now :(

Default Brembo Logo measurement on STI brakes?

I just powdercoated my brakes and was rather pleased with the overall finish. Now its time to put "Brembo" on the brakes.

Comparison shot between powdercoated piece and mostly-stripped piece.

I want to stencil on "brembo' in red and found this site selling stencils: http://eagleday.stores.yahoo.net/brcapaki.html.

Only problem is, I don't know which size to get. Even the 3 1/4" seems small to me. I bought my brakes painted black, so I have no idea of the real size of the logo. Anyone have any idea what size 'brembo' is on the fronts and on the rears? Can someone measure?

You can buy high-temp brembo decals online, just a thought.

I could, but after all the work of taking the brakes apart, sandblasting them, powdercoating them, I don't want to cut any corners and just slap a decal on there. I don't really believe that those high-temp decals are very long lasting at all.

For future reference for anyone else, I used 1.75" for the rear brakes and 3.75" for the fronts. Here's what it looks like:

Sorry to bring this back from the dead. Looks like the logo works if you add a clear coat of paint after. But this leaves the clear as the weak point. My powdercoater can add a clear coat of powder, but the high temp logos cannot handle that type of heat.

What can be used instead?

Use a stencil instead and clear over the painted logo
