I dont really want an all metal one since it gets so hot, I might just end up buying another one for 80 bux. I just cant believe that this one has fallen apart after 40k.

I have a KartBoy aluminum shift knob with the uber-rare black UPC code. I also have the stock 5-speed leather shift knob from my SAAB 9-2x that has about .5 miles on it.

Looks tempting - but I think I'm either going with Duke's or buying another momo one like mine..

yuppers. You may need like some plastic tubing to get it to fit snug on the shifter. its a 3 screw allen type deal, not a screw on.

I've got THIS ONE and love it.....

..but I don't know how comfortable it would be without the reverse lockout that is on an STi. I like the feel: comfortable and solid as it is impossible for it to come loose. Well, a good wreck might do it.

I've got a Sparco X-Speed knob that I used for all of a week before I ordered a Mustang shift knob. They are like $70 new. I'll take $35.
