I bought this last summer for my 6mt swap. Well the guy that sold me my 6 speed threw one in so I never mounted it. It has been hanging out in my basement for about 9 months. 75 dollars shipped. Buyer adds 3% for paypal fee.

Yes. It is stiffer and has more material. The trans will move less when shifting with one in place. There is an increase in NVH with them however. That is why the car does not come this way from the factory.

This is a good deal i just pickd mine up from the dealer for $95 bucks special order. took about 4 days to get it in. yet to install it but it looks alot more stable then stock

It is a common acronym for Noise Vibration Harshness. Typically when replacing stock bushings ,mounts etc. this increases. This mount is stiffer so more vibration from the trans can be felt. I don't notice it. what I do notice is less clunk when shifting. I now have no clunk thanks to some other mods I have made.

Free bump for you, I just install this part and the trans does not move as much. NVH, I want more of this noise, the trans now make a whoosh gear sound when accelerate hard.

This will fit a 5MT without issue as well- they're interchangeable, though Subaru does list separate part numbers for 5MT and 6MT.

I actually put a 5MT trans mount into my car with a 6speed swap. It held the transmission higher up than normal. I swapped it out for a 6speed group N mount to get it right. Heres a pic to prove the difference in height
