Default four H7s hi low want both on with high beam

i wired my lamps with relays as follows...

Relay -- typical:
#85 trigger #86 trigger #87 power in #30 power out
2: Low Beam Relay:
#85 this should be connected to the ground wire coming off of the factory head lamp harness plug end for the low beam (because Subaru uses a switched ground system)
#86 this should be connected to the power wire (center lead) coming off of the factory head lamp harness plug end
#87 connect to positive feed direct from either the alternator or battery (with fuse holder as close to the power source as possible)
#30 terminal on relay to either wire on headlamp bulb plug
3. High Beam Relay:
#85 this should be connected to the ground wire coming off of the factory head lamp harness plug end for the high beam (because Subaru uses a switched ground system)
#86 this should be connected to the power wire (center lead) coming off of the factory head lamp harness plug end
#87 connect to positive feed direct from either the alternator or battery (with fuse holder as close to the power source as possible)
#30 terminal on relay to either wire on headlamp bulb plug
4: The remaining, unattached wire on the headlamp bulb plug should go to ground. Make sure that the ground wire for each head lamp goes right to the body of the car as close to the head lamp as possible.

trouble is this...

when i put parking lamps on i get solid signals and parking markers light up. i just noticed the stock lamp has a single filament bulb and my new lamps ahave double filament bulbs. what will happen if i change out the doubles for the singles? will it lite low until i use the signal then bright signal and short bulb life? i guess i just want the signals off until i use it.
please advise.

when i put on from low to high the bulbs do switch but i would like all four bulbs to light at the same time in high position. other wise i have not changed intensity but changed only inner and outer position.

how do i fix this? another set of relays? what do i cut into? 87 86 85 30?

thanks
jake

No this will not work, the bulb base is different, you can not use a single filament bulb with out a different socket, just cut the offending wire if you want the parking lights permenantly off. and even if it did connect it still wouldnt function as described, 12V twice is still 12V so having two 12V sources to two grounds on the same filament wouldn't make it any brighter. I mean maybe SLIGHTLY brighter from the slight drop in resistance, but not enough.

If it's anything like the old style setup, (which i'm fairly sure it is) you should be able to just take the lowbeam ground and ground it straight to the chassis, this way low beams will be on anytime you turn your headlights on and highbeams only when switched. as subarus have a switched ground setup.

good luck!
