Default GST Motorsports Time Attack car goes 10.76.

We had the fortune of being invited to the Modified Magazine Tuner Shootout this past weekend in Phoenix, AZ. Part of this shootout was a drag race. With Gary "NHRA" Sheehan piloting our car we felt confident of a reasonable time especially with our last outing at the drags yielding a 11.06@132.

Our first pass was on our practice map the time slip for this run was,

We then decided to run on our race map so Gary flipped the switch rolled up to the line and ripped off the following,

Gary came back round and said he felt the car could go a little faster so he rolled to the starting line and ripped off the following,

We would like to thank Gary again for his as usual awesome driving and also Chris Rado for his advice on how to leave the line without breaking anything.

Mike

Very impressive. Really shows how well the car is built all-around and the strength the car has. Mike, how does the "L" do on water?

Assuming that this is the 470whp tune, this is impressive but expected from such a professional and no nonsense shop. NO inflated dyno #s for advertising here.

Great work as per usual, Mike....

Gary "NHRA" Sheehan! Hats off to you sir. And all this before logging 2 miles down the 1320?! Awesome job!

Congrats to Mike and the GST motorsports crew (including Tommy too). Big props for a very well built all around race car! All that OT payed off.

Dyno, AutoX, 1320, TT/TA? What else is left to conquer?

The car weighs 2850lbs with driver and makes roughly 490whp. We're running a HTA GT35r with a Cosworth Motor, using a Cobb Tuning crank.

I'm curious to know what map you were running on this dyno? How did this dyno correlate to the run's posted above?

Qualifying map, the car ran roughly 2.5psi less than tuned for at our facility. I would image this was due to both the higher altitude and the limited airflow on the dyno used.

1.06 housing? By any chance, when do you see full boost on both maps with the hta gt35r?

still a 5mt, right?

It's a .82 housing. We run a 6sp with JDM 5th and 6th.

I would have to double check our logs but if I recall we hit full boost around 4300rpm.
