Default Readjusting Headlights on 08STI

Hey guys, I just got my 08 STI about 2 weeks ago and have noticed that the headlights are aimed low. The height setting has always been set to 0 and works fine when I choose other numbers, so it seems that it was just aimed wrong from the factory.

Anyways, I asked my dealer about it and they said they've never had this problem before. They recommended that I just realign them myself, but I can't do it with the adjustment motors in the way. They said they'll call the tech helpline and see what can be done.

Has anyone else had to adjust their lights? If so, how do you do it?

in most states you would fail the annual safety inspection with misaligned headlights. warranty should cover anything that would cause you to fail an inspection, on a BRAND NEW car... I would bring it back and tell them they are being ridiculous telling you YOU should go fix your brand new automobile.

Be nice but be firm that this isn't right.

keep in mind, this is coming from someone who works in service at a subaru dealer.
