Default 03 WRX - does the stock hazard switch light up?

Following the direction in a sticky, I swapped out the burned out backlight in my cruise control switch, but also noticed my hazard switch is not lit up.

Is it supposed to? The wiring diagram I have shows that it should, but taking out the switch yielded no (obvious) clue there a light in there. If there is, how can one get to it?

Thanks.
