V4 STi stock egt question

So, I just got a jdm hks downpipe for my car, and I am in the process of putting it in as we speak. But my egt prob WILL NOT COME OUT!!

I tried everything to get that thing out of there and it wont budge. Its so rounded off now it rediculous.

So I guess the question is, where do I get another one? And will it be ok to run my car without it till I get another?

What exactly is it there for? Is it a failsafe incase egt's get to high it shuts things down?

Will one for a newer WRX work?

Does anyone have one??

Please help, I dont know if I should just put my stocker back in, or put the hks in and plug the hole for now.

im not using one

you dont need that crap.... just leave the plug un plugged and tuck it away.

you dont need the factory EGT its doesnt read right anyway...
