It's a lot clean looking IMO.
Can you put up some more pics of your setup? I'd like to do this without drilling if possible.

did this last night - looks great - thanks for the write up! At some point I may replace foam with nylon spacers. My foam wasn't as dense as yours and didn't work all that well

Alright as promised... V2 lip on the bug eye....
first off it took me 1 hour to do the V1 lip... 3.5 hours to do the V2, mainly impart that it was 98 degrees on saturday and i wasnt rushing at all, and i was trying to make it as perfict as possible(still minor imperfections but will work that out later...) well here she is... it was hard trying to get it to be level all the way around and make the hump in the middle look like it wasnt there. i got close to it but as you can see the hump of the front is hard to make go away. well here she is... V1 lip. ![]() V2 lip ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() doing the V2 lip isnt that much harder than doing the V1. it just takes ALONG time to double back tape them together and get it screwed up so its even all the way across. i used a different type of foam than the original idea(seat foam out of a pad you get at football games and races, only because it was what i had laying around) i also double sided taped the top of the lip to the bumper. if you want any different pics let me know and i can snap them and upload them for ya' josh Last edited by wrxguy02; 06-08-2008 at 06:48 PM. |

I concur. You get an 'A' for effort for trying out the V2 for the sake of all the bugeye drivers, but your V1 definitely looks better.

As I suspected, the "brake ducts" on the bugeye mess it up. Wonder how this will looking on a Prodrive lip though. (Thinking it should look decent, and protect it too.

What about STi Splitters? I really want to have a rubber door seal front lip like this to prevent it from scraping the splitters? I don't think the v1 looked too good, so v2 might look worse...or better? Not sure. Hopefully someone can do this and take many pictures.
