I got this Prodrive lip the day after Prodrive USA announced it was closing.
Prodrive has always been one of the cleanest looking front lips... and that's why I've wanted it for so long... even though I wanted clean I was getting concerned it wasn't aggressive enough... like it needed something else ARC makes a bunch of front wing lip splitters for Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi... but NO SUBARU wtfThe closest fit I could find is the Evo 6 GSR. The ARC splitters are universal enough but it would look stupid if you got one that ended up being twice as long as the bumper or too short. The Evo 6 GSR and Impreza WRX have similar wheelbases of 98.8" and 99.4" making them easy to compare. I used Photoshop to overlay two side view photos of the cars lined up at the hubs - and the bumper size ended up being damn near identical ![]() Finally I ordered these from Japan Parts - and within ONE WEEK of when I ordered they showed up from Tokyo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They were out of stock at JapanParts in Tokyo and the website said it would be a 2-3 week wait. I actually ordered the Evo 5 (cp9a) ones by mistake and had to email them my corrected order of the Evo 6 GSR's (cp9a"m"). They had to run down the street to the ARC factory in Japan to pick them up Unwrapping them was the longest 2 minutes of my life but they FIT PERFECTLY on the stock wrx bumper. I also liked the Evo 6 because the sides ended before reaching the front splitter part so it could be trimmed drown if it ended up too long - but not even necessary! Installed pics coming in a week or so I'm hoping!

I'm on the fence, I'd have to see them painted and mounted... I was thinking one big under splitter I didn't ralize there were two!

well it all depends if you want the spitter to stick out in the front or not...
here's the R33 ones on a bug... it's actually a splitter ![]() The Evo 6 GSR should give a nice lip in the front too, since the bumper is the same size It really just comes down to personal tastes |

Seriously dude, post pics when you're done. I also have the Prodrive lip but have been thinking about adding something else to make it look just a bit more aggressive. This would be a good addition. What did these cost you anyway? Link to the parts page?

Price for ARC "Front wing lip splitter" with shipping was 28,085 Yen to Washington DC
http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...er=100&volkey= So like $280-ish maybe? Usually the conversion is knock the last 2 digits off but with the economy doing how it does you might want to double check the latest rate Prodrive definitely could benefit from something more... DIY lip and Trackdogracing lip were the other two I considered. My friend RIP EP3 got the Track Dog lip and it looks sick |

mine come in tomorrow. I will mount them up and see how they fit on the JUN bumper, but it looks like the skyline ones are the longest from front to back. Yours are really nice, but they are really long from side to side and would past that part in the middle of the jun bumper where it slants up kinda. lol
I ordered the dc2 ones which seemed to be the biggest, but yours are definately bigger. oh and john, since you're a japanparts guru, do they have jdm headlights and sti carbon side markers still? |

![]() http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1527819 I'm sure DC2 will be sick on JUN - you can always trim these to be shorter... it's just making them longer thats the issue (or having to shortening them further than the side piece allow) Japanparts has everything Subaru of Japan offers at dealership parts counters so I believe so... I just needed these with the quickness so I can get my lip put on! |

The r33 ones are sick because they have that little tab that comes off the back to reach from the front of the bumper to the back near the wheel. See the ones I got are big, but im not sure if they will stick out in the front and still reach the back of the front bumper. We'll find out tomorrow, otherwise ill sell them on HT and order another set. These definately are sick ass hell and protect the bumper from getting ****ed up. |

The R33's were the first one's I was planning on getting cuz well... they're for the GT-R
But I wanted that clean look like the Voltex CF pieces. The R33's rather than flow with the prodrive clean lines create their own aggressive (yet hot) style... spear-fishing look ![]() I'm sure the DC2 again will be fine esp after seeing the second pic of them... but if you end up going with these, measure how much longer the JUN bumper is than stock one - because Evo 6 GSR exactly fit stock. Of the others, S14 has a longer bumper too iirc... I can look up some other lengths for comparos Last edited by silverF4turbo; 06-02-2008 at 03:00 PM. |

ok i test fitted mine on the JUN and they fit ****ing awesome! Lines up in the front, same shape as the bumper, and stick out nice on the sides. The only thing is they dont reach all the way to the back of the bumper, but most don't from the ones im looking at. There is probably a good 2" but thats fine. They reach half way through the grill opening on the side, which follows the lines of the bumper and looks really good.
