Default Need someone with experience to help put the motor back in. NOW.

So yeah I needed to get this lift apart and back to its owner today, obviously that isnt going to happen, but I really would like to get it back to him tomorrow.

So I need someone to help me get this motor back attatched to the car. Its under the hood, I basically need someone to get under the car and help guide it into place.
I really need someone who has done this before, as I dont have time to teach you what needs to go where. At least someone who has done a clutch, basically has clutch stabbing/bolt aligning experience.

I am in Austin, by Parmer and McNeil a few blocks from Woodrows.

And I need this person, asap.

I had someone who was going to come help tonight (we were waiting for it to cool down a bit) but now I cant get ahold of him, and my other buddy who can do it is out of town.

Anyone?

Two tips:

1. It helps if you have a spare jack laying around to jack up the transmission.
2. Detach the pitch stop from the motor.

Milin and myself just helped Butterz drop his new motor in today. It was a piece of cake once we removed the pitch stop. Also, remember to reinstall that metal flywheel guard that mounts to the very bottom of the block.

Planning on the jack under the tranny.
Pitch stop is off.

Luckily its a push type clutch so that part will be easy.

I got ahold of rhinotech, he is coming over in like 30

From there it's just a matter of sticking the circle peg in the circle hole, good luck.
