Default Update on Cdn Wing Supplier

Got my new wing installed last weekend and I am really happy with it. It looks very close to the CWest wing.

The company in etown that sold it to me is called "Aero Automotive". The are on 50St just off of the Sherwood Park Freeway about a block south of House of Tools.

Paid $320 for the wing and $120 for paint. Excellent work. Everything as expected and on time. Hard to beat this price if your are going to buy from the US.

I highly recommend these guys. They will ship anywhere if you are interested.

I'll post pics tomorrow. Here is the other info.

What ver spoiler? - The version is almost identical to the Cwest wing. I don't think this is equal to any WRC style wing, but I like it because its not too huge, but it still looks agressive.

2. Any pics? - Coming
3. Can they match World Rally Blue. - I think they sould be able too, if you give them the paint code(located under the hood on drivers side). They matched my silver exactly, but I left the stock wing for them to match with. They can also send these 2 you unpainted and you can get a local paint shop to match.
4. Fits WRX? - Exactly fits the exsisting bolt holes.
5. Will they ship to Ontario? - They are shipping all over North America, so I guess this won't be a problem.
6. Phone Number 780-466-6909

Storm - If you are willing to sell your stock wing, you can get at least $150US for it on ebay (mine is for sale now and bid is at $150), so deduct $200cdn and your into a new painted wing for $300cdn

I like my sedan wing, but I wonder how much it would cost for them to make me a couple of small extensions just so the wing sits about 2-3" higher.

I think maybe I'll give them a call.

Cough up the pics Calander!!!

Apparently this is a copy of the Japanese Street Fighter version spoiler (that's what the guy who sold it too me said). They also sell a version 7 with light (not a 22B).

Feng,

Thanks. Sorry about the number storm. I will try to be out for 2:00pm Saturday. I would like to see the new dealership anyhow.

Suspension is on my list. I can't quite decide what to do. Lots of people say springs on stock dampers is not good. However, the price of coilovers hurts too.

Any suggestions?

Darrell,

Based on the price of a set of cheap adjustable dampers, and a good set of springs, you're probably at least 40% of the way to a good set of DMS coilovers. If you go with koni or bilstein adjustable struts, you're probably 60+% towards the DMS's. As ususal, you get what you pay for.

If I had to do mine all over again, I'd probably save the extra pennies and get a coil over. However, I have been very happy with my Whiteline set-up, especially since I got the corrected rear springs in the rear.
