Default Locking Gas Caps

This is the thing I meant to post in this forum...

Picked up an OEM Subaru locking gas cap for $22 today. Very inexpensive and I'd recommend to everyone given that a few of us have been sugared or had misc stuff done to the fuel.

Ya Crappy Tire sells them. I think it was $12-16 or so. Definately worth it. Surprised Subaru didn't install an interior latch to pop up the lid. Then again, surprised they didn't even fold the seats.. then again.. etc..etc.

Make sure you always lock the cap after a fill. Else CEL pops up.

They used to, but in 1997(?), they went the cheaper route. I wasn't impressed when I saw that.
