Hi guys
I'm in Australia and absolutely none of the wreckers here stock either AU or JDM Honda S2000 or Accord Euro Luxury (known as the TSX in the US) projectors... or even the whole headlight assembly. It is RHD in Australia, like Japan... Honda only sells the whole headlight assembly for an enormous sum. Are there any good suppliers in the states selling the projectors? Caesar @ lightwerkz said it's very hard to get them, and japanparts I think only sells the whole assembly. Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldnt find the suitable thread. My plan is to retrofit these projectors with the Lightwerkz kit and also get quad angel eyes as done on this thread: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/exterior...ngel-eyes.html Thanks in advance!! ![]()

I've seen some JDM projectors pop up on there. I even saw a set of RHD S2K's on there a few months ago if I'm not mistaken. |

thank you for the leads guys.
i will also check ebay US and hope that they post to AU. ebay AU has no projector lights... so deprived down here... HIDs will be useful to spot dingos and kangaroos waiting to cross the road at night :P p.s. what did you search for on ebay? "projector s2000"? |

If you dont care about them being for RHD (not the biggest of deals) than just type in TSX projector and snap some up that way in the normal ebay (not ebay au)

thanks mate.. i've decided to go with S2k projectors only as they are nicer... and they would have to be RHD or i'd probably get pulled over for blinding oncoming passengers (rightly so i guess!)

when I looked initially for s2k's I searched "s2000 projectors", alas...found nearly all complete lamps...which are pricey and not needed. Then moved on to "tsx projector" and found a good few. They are always on, as they are an excellent retrofit piece.

thanks bro
![]() i am just using the stock lamps and preparing for an HID conversion, want to do it properly... i'm drooling over the S2k intensity and cutoffs so i will go for them as the tsx will not be suitable for RHD, so I need to find "Honda Accord Euro Luxury" projectors instead, and they are rare. In the states, do you guys get the leveler motors built in to your headlight assemblies? My car doesnt have the leveler motor... i'm wondering if it can be added or if it's inbuilt? If you don't have them in your lights then it would be very difficult to add the motors. There is a member over at hidplanet, JVX (he also has a geocities page if you google it) who can make you custom shields for your s2k/tsx/rx ... I believe he charges around $30-50 and does very fine work.

motors would be extremely hard to do.
what you may be able to do, although it would cost extra, is to source a set of 04-05 sti housings. since the levelers are built onto the reflector assembly, theresa good chance you would end up with the projectors being able to level |

yes i think that's probably a good idea
at least i can keep my OEM headlights in stock form just in case. do the USDM 04-05 sti's have the leveler motors? JDM Sti ones seem hard to find these days. Actually, what about just the JDM WRX or Impreza headlights, do they have levelers? Those I can get cheaper since they're not for HIDs. Last edited by wrxstic; 06-11-2008 at 08:48 PM. |

thanks
![]() How about the non-HID JDM headlights - do they have levelers? I'm thinking I'll just get those since it's easier to source them where I am. thanks |

yes. usdm 04-05 sti housings were d2r HID, and had leveling motors. dont pay the premium for ultra cool jdm ones. you are going to be cutting apart the reflector anyway, so it doesnt matter if its rhd or lhd.
