I need help!! So i just got these aftermarket HID's....Brand New. I installed them perfectly fine. Unplugged the DRL connecter. When I turn on the headlights....they would go on for like a split second and than it would turn off. It stays off and no light whatsoever! I turn off the headlight.....try to turn on again and same thing (flick on for a split second and turn off) and yes I know turning them on and off is bad for the balllast and bulb, but I was just testing to see if they even work. My guess is...there is not enough power going to the ballast than to the bulb. Maybe Bad Ground? I Grounded it where the stock bulb grounds. HELP!!! Thanks!

first of all, the best thing you can do is get rid of that HID kit. they suck.
they are not working because you have them connected to the stock wiring. subaru wiring is not made to handle the high load of hid startup. this is why relay harnesses are recommended |

Thanks all! Problem fixed.... the ballasts that I were using were defective. Got new ones ( full warranty) and worked just fine!
