Well, after waiting around all morning, the clouds parted and the sun came out. Though I did not win my class (sorry, Conti, I should have actually tried) I did run a 12.94 @ 101 mph (yes, the trap sucked, but I still ran 12's!). I changed nothing in the car other than driver input. I knew it could run a 12! So, once I ran that, I didn't care about winning or losing, but the entire way home, the more I thought about it, the more upset I became at myself for not even trying! My worst run of the entire day.... DOH!

Saw lots of people out there, so was good chatting and seeing quite a few folks to support the scene.

That turned out to be alot of fun... wasn't sure at first with the rain in the morning.

I improved my times (13.35) and figured out a few more things with the the car. Hopefully get the car figured out before to long.

Was a long day... the trunk monkey was out cold before I had finished packing the car to come home.

Good seeing everyone out there... sorry I won't be able to make this Wednesday, 4 round trips to the valley for race events in 10 days is my limit (in gas money, entry fees and time away from family).

lol ok Ralph but sponsors want you to win even if your last lap was your personal best... thats no excuse to give away first place. She could have won the whole event at that point lol instead she hands it all away including the money she could have made selling the nos kit or what ever first place prize was.

I know... I was the one that brought this to her attention right after the race.

I guess I should apologize to you for getting her wound up before she got home last night

coulda shoulda woulda.... Yes, had I put some effort into it, I COULD have won, however since I didn't, I didn't win. Simple as that. I was excited that I hit my 12's and after that happened, my brain kinda shut off. I was tired and wanted to go home, so was hoping Troy would beat me, which he did, but broke out so I won that run. Then the last one, my heart just wasn't in it. I had my very worst run of the day, didn't launch the car and just ran down the track. I figure, even still, no launch, with a 2.0 60' I still managed to get a 13.61 @ 101.55 mph. Considering when I missed 3rd gear on 2 runs, I still squeaked in with 13.44 @ 100.21 and 13.55 @ 100.88.

Ya, oops. Now, I'm mad at myself for not even putting the effort into it when I most likely would have won that.... Sorry, Josh. I didn't know you wanted that NOS kit.

I was going to text you to tell you that Josh would buy it, but I figured since you were already staged you wouldn't have time to respond

Just think how good you made the guy in the loud camaro feel about himself.

Even trying to weight up and down grade map I was still to fast for 13 if that Silverado SS wasn't so slow that first run I believe would have broke out that round.
