Default Fog Lights Wont Work

Hey guys it has been snowing for 5 days now so I haven't had a chance to take off my fog lights yet. Both lights are out. I checked the fuse inside the car and it is fine. If one of the lights came unplugged would that cause both of them to quit working. I figured if it was a bulb then just one of them would have burned out. Thanks in advance for you hep and ideas.

Don't know if this is your problem, but the fogs won't work when the brights are on.

They only work if your low beam headlights are on.

Check and ensure the wiring harness is plugged into the button in the dash. I got my car back from the dealership once and took me a few minutes to figure out why my cruise & fog's didnt' work. I just plugged them back in and viola!

Just fishing for more clues... has it ever worked properly? Or has there been any work done on the car after which it no longer worked?

No it's worked fine. I went on a long drive and the next day when I got up they would not turn on. I guess I will just have to pull the lights off when it quits snowing see if one came on plugged or if the bulbs burnt out. Thanks for the replys guys. Anymore Ideas?

To make sure the cruise and fog is plugged in, do the lights go on when you press the button?

Wink

Take it back to the dealer. That is what the warranty is for. After you get your car back, let us know what had happened to the fogs.

Later...AH
