Default Car painters??

Hello,
Well in my search for a body shop, I am finding that they are very expensive even for a simple paint job. I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone that does a really good job, but does not charge an arm and a leg.

If anyone knows anyone at all that might be able to hook me up, let me know and I will give you the details of what I am looking for.

Thanks....Kris

Trust me.. when it comes to doing a paint job, you want it done right! The good places use several layers of paint and will basiclly tear the car apart to make sure they get everything painted correctly.

I used to work at Macco. Pls do not EVER go there. They have a clause in their contracts that allow so many dust particles per inch. BLEH..

A good shop will paint the car, then bake it ( for an hour or so), before it even sees ANYTHING outside. Otherwise the paint will get some dust.

God I hated working there...

I will not go to Maaco for this car. I would go there if I wanted to get a car painted that I was only worried about it lasting a year or two, but not a long term paint job.

I am talking with someone right now, and he is offering me a pretty good price. Still ALOT more than I was looking to spend, but I am realizing I am going to have to spend a bit if I want it to look good. But I am still looking for hook-ups!
