Default Aftermarket steering wheel? Yay or Nay ?

I want a little more "cushy" feeling in my steering wheel...

I could buy one of those sew on steering wheel covers....BUT its alot of work.

Whata u guys think... Ditch the airbags and go aftermarket ???

or

Send it out and have it recovered. Thats what Im going to do.
CHeck you local laws as well. In most states it is not legal to remove the air bags from your car.
Most INS companys also have it in there fine print that they do not have to pay for any med bills if you remove or disable the air bags.

Later.

+1000000000 for keeping airbags, especially if it is a daily driver and not an auto-x/track only/caged/race harness equipped car. It would be like asking whether or not to swap out your seatbelt IMO.

I like after market steering wheels more than factory as well, but I would hate to have an accident on the street w/o the airbag in which someone was injured and the insurance company started asking questions.

Keep the airbag on your DD! It would suck bad if you were in an accident & your INC wouldn't pay for anything cause you removed the airbag.

+1 for having it stiched w/ suede

i also love the aftermarket wheels better as well but you will soon lose little things such as airbag, and a HORN. i had no horn for 2 years in my daily. wasn't fun. but the steering size/response was an improvement though lol
