Default Quality of P&P Xenon Bulbs...

Alright, so i'm re-doing my headlight reteo with some FX-35 clear lens projectors in the next few weeks, and i was starting to round up the parts list.

I've had great luck with P&P ballast, so im sticking with them, and i need the D2S connectors for those, AND the person im selling my current lights to needs a harness so i threw one of those in as well, As my supplier pointed out, for $10 more i can make it a full kit and (its more expensive to buy the parts seperate than together)

SO my question is, will the P&P bulbs work the same in my FX-35 projectors as the philips bulbs? i figure $10 is better than $80, and if it wont affect my optics i don't see the risk.

Keep in mind, that i will be sticking with the 4300k-5000k range for the P&P bulbs.

Thanks!

do not use p+p bulbs. they are total crap.

i had 2 burn out when i had my noob hid kit. i also had a ballast burn out.

they were not color matched to begin with... one was greenish and one was more purple. they are absolute garbage.

get osram or phillips bulbs. you will have a more focused beam and the peace of mind that you are using legit equipment.

I've purchased many "noob" kits from this supplier, and all the bulbs and ballasts were of good quality, my friends been running them for two years now no issues, and i ran two kits in my old accord (i know...)

In the end i was expecting this answer, and have no problem with it, but i figured what the heck! i'll ask it anway

And BTW, i have been running P&P ballasts with philips bulbs for the past year and a half on my TSX swap. No issues what so ever

yeah, i have been running pnp ballasts with my fx35 swap since march with no problems either. knock on wood.

but yeah bulbs, forget it. i have seen ouput differences between osrams and phillips. even those dont produce the exact same output. i cant imagine what a crap pnp hid capsule will put out.

Haha good point. If my buyer ever comes through for my TSX swap ill be making a How-To for the 04-05 since i see someone has made one for the 02-03

Not sure if there will be any interest, but why not right?

haha yeah. i was the one who did the fx35 write up. if i had an 04-05 i would def use fx35 projectors. even though s2k's are some of the nicest out there, i would still use the fx due to the bi-xenons. they grab a ton of attention when u flick those high beams
