Default STRI gauges - any good?

I am thinking about ordering a set of STRI X-line gauges, but have never seen actual gauges in person.

For those with STRI X-line gauges, can you please post a picture of your gauge set up and what's your opinions about these gauges? Lastly, are these STRI gauges made in Japan?

ps: does gauge come with gauge pod and mounting solution?

Well I cant vouch for the x-lines but I have the dsd slm II in with the white LED's and I love them. They got a blue'ish look to them from the smoked lens. They come with the cheesy clamp style gauge cups that can be mounted where ever with some double sided tape. Oh and yes these are jdm, but you can still get them in imperial fairly easily.

STRIs are not ebay guages. They are good quality and priced pretty well. Not super cheap like prosports but less than defis. I've seen mounted up in a friends car and they look good.

I just ordered my Xline black face smoke lens amber LED gauges. Got boost, oil pressure, and EGT for $250 shipped and brand new from a great vendor on this site. Ordered them Wednesday and they are out for delivery to my house today! Hopefully my Zerosports gauge pod comes in this weekend so I can install!

I have an AMBer color STRI DSD SLM II PSI reading BOOST gauge for sale - i got this as an extra, brand new, uninstalled. 60mm

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1532879

I have a pair of boost + oil pressure dsd slm 2 in my car and IMO they are great gauges. Reads pretty accurate and it looks like defi's. Display is pretty clear during day/night time.

Quality gauges !

I plan to use "3M quick connects" to connect wires as oppose to splicing wires. Will post pics tomorrow when I get them.

Anyone used them before?
