Thumbs up NOVA Gun Range outing (AKA:Grab yer gat and bustacap)

There's been talk of a few of us getting together and hitting up the range for some trigger time. Granted the only range I know of is the NRA range in Fairfax, but I'd like to try and schedule a get together for Thursday June 26 at around 7pm. I'll be bringing both of my Beretta .40's, POF 415 and plenty of ammo if someone doesn't have any personal gear and wants to try them out. Range fee is $14/hr for NRA members, $18/hr otherwise

So who's in?

If you have never been there, you will have to pass a short written test before you can shoot.

If this turns into a large gathering and the range is busy, good luck being placed at ports somewhat together.

Another range is Blue Ridge Arsenal. Located right off 50 where 28 crosses.

I used to be a member there but got to busy with work and canceled.

I might be down for a range meet. I can bring my 94 and USP CT

Ummm, before I drive down for this. Is this a handgun caliber range... or anything goes? I am trying to site in my hk91 with new optics.

I would also bring ruger p89, MK2, Berretta storm, HK Tac and Sig.

All pistol calibers and centerfire rifle up to .460 Weatherby Magnum...

7.62 is fine. what optics would those be? STANAG mount maybe?

I wish I had my .22 conversion here with me but alas it is at home in Missouri with my 91...

yeah. I've never been a big fan of glock.

I've never shot an uncontrollable XD though. I love those guns!

I'm also having great experiences with my 2075 Rami. It's controllable and is probably one of the most accurate sub-compacts that I've ever fired

would love to try out that XD though. There is always room for another sub-compact in the collection

I dont remember the model number, would have to look it up. 27 or 37. as a .45 with only 2-3 fingers on the grip firing in combat. I would've rather had my sig.
