Default Crawford or Cosworth?

If you guys had to pick a longblock from either Cosworth or Crawford, which would you pick?

Thats an easy one, and disrespectful to put one brand with the other, they are in way different class from one another. Cosworth the only one that would go in my ride.

If you look at their racing results, you'll see they both build killer motors.

They both can build reliable motors. Squashman has a killer combo in his mean machine.

FWIW, I'll be rocking a Crawford.

*shrug*

TopSpeed will be building some high dollar hardware as well.
They lack the reputation of Crawford which was soiled pretty badly on this board over the past 2 years (flame suits) and they lack the pedigree of Cosworth. Cost will probably be between the two.

They will have a 2.7 Liter fully forged package in the next month or so.
I'm hoping to try it out in July.

Always nice to have more options....

Both are equally great engine builders and both have lived up to their reputations.

I dont think it would really matter... neither will hold huge amounts of hp just cause they dont reinforce their blocks.

For longblocks?

Cosworth all the way.

Just look at mxpop's set-up, absolutely crazy.

looks like cosworth is getting the go ahead so far...ya i will prolly end up going with a gt35R for my turbo pick. prolly max it out at around 500whp or so. no need to go crazy, just want something strong and reliable
