Default HKS (Black) Type 1 Turbo Timer

I want to buy an HKS Black Type 1 Turbo Timer for my 2002 WRX. After buying that and the harness, does it fit properly in the dash to the left of the cup holder piece? I have seen alot of different turbo timers mounted there and I was wondering if the HKS one fitted perfect without modification. Thanks for anyone who can provide info on having this setup. Thanks again guys.

the place next to the cupholder needs to be cut out in order to fit anything in there

Anyone have a pic of their HKS turbo timer mounted in a 2002 wrx or similar.

Thanks!

i don't have a pic right now, but there's plenty of space if you take the ashtray out

I was told you could mount the HKS turbo timer to the left of the cup holder above the stereo? Does anybody have this setup or does it not fit properly?

Thanks for any info guys...

See the spot where it was cut out, that is where I had mine. I took it out when I bought the car, have not had a chance to replace the panel. Previous owner used double sided sticky tape and it somewhat held in place. It fit decently.
