So, the car is pretty much done. I need to track down an issue with the power or ground to the gauge cluster and address the paint someday, but the car runs, drives, is reliable and is completely put together.
Oh yeah, and it's for sale. $16k, no BS, no ****ing around, that's my bottom dollar. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you the full rundown. Yeah it's cheap, I don't mess around when it comes to selling things. Here's the build sheet: Quote:

Beautiful RX7. The LS1 swap makes it that much more amazing. If you need help selling this let me know. I can post it up on the NJ car forums, I'm sure there's someone that would be interested for that price.

Has PS, no AC. Should dyno ~330whp untuned, 350-360whp tuned. I can work out tuning with the buyer if they want, the local shop here is top-notch at LS1 tuning.
No quarter mile times. Compared it on a couple 30 or 50mph rolls against a friend's car that trapped 113 and pulled on it. 115 is probably a very realistic bet (and lines up with what other similar swapped cars do) Quote:
Oops, I must have accidentally cut that out when I split the post up... ![]() |

Bump for you, thats a great car that I`m sure is quite fast with a stock motor. All that thing needs is some good cams/heads an exhaust, and a reallly good tune, and ur easily 400+whp and very fast in a light car! PM me if your looking to trade for a 02 wrx.

Sorry, no trades unless I get very significant cash on my end, which would limit me to looking at like Legacy turbos, maybe some stock GC8s and the like...
And yeah, power is great as it is. Honest estimate is 330ish whp as it sits, 350-360whp with a tune and even with just a medium cam you can do 400+whp. Add a good set of heads and shoot for 450+. |

Back off fellas, as soon as my car sells.....
Brent you're worrying me listing it all over the place, you're going to sell it before I sell mine, haha. Of course I'm somewhat kidding, I realize I don't have dibs on the car or anything. For anyone else looking and interested, I've been looking around quite a bit at the lsx FD's, and this is currently the best deal out there. There are some more complete, perfect cars for sale, but the price they are being sold for reflects that. Good luck, Brent, hope I'm the one that gets to work something out with you. |
