Default AVO Q's

I have an AVO sequential BOV that I got a while ago for free from a friend, and it looks like something bolts onto the front of it. Can anyone help me out here, I dont know what goes on the front. Also is this a good BOV? It looks like this:

it looks like it has a recirculation piece that can be bolted on to it. as for being a good one i couldn't tell you that.

ive heard that the avo BOVs are good. my friend has one on his sti and has no complains
