So in the near future I am thinking about putting PPGs in my WRX. I want to make around 425-475 WHP. I have a 2007 WRX, and was wondering what forged internals, if any, are recomended for that power level. I was thinking pistons, rods, and bearing, but I was told that bearings are not really necessary for the ej25

you could achieve your power goals with stock ej255/7.
but pistons would not hurt. but i would also think about 6 speed swap instead of ppg's. |

I love my 1-4 PPG gears, I would never go through the trouble of a 6 speed swap.
As for the internels I have no clue but I'm also wondering what I should do to my engine before my 20G + Meth injection. Subscribed |

This will be more of a DD with the track time like twice a month and auto-x like once a month or so.

You should be fine with just pistons.
FWIW, I just did a 6 speed swap, and wish I went with the PPGs. |
