Default Discount Tire returns/exchange

Is it still possible to return a wheel that has been mounted in exchange for something else or a straight return? The guys over at discount tire would not let me exchage my wheels.
Has anyone done this? I called the customer service and told me that I can exchange it. When I got to Discount Tire they said it's not possible and they need to call the company first to see if they can get credit for the wheels.

I don't think they got it from anywhere. It came from their warehouse here in Lubbock. Anyway it's a set of ICW wheels which i bought for my Forester. The guy told me that they need to call ICW to see if they can get credit for the wheels, if not I won't be able to trade it with a different set of wheels because he would need to sell them used.

I guess I'm stuck with it. The only thing that bothers me is they're heavier than the stock steel wheels it had on. They're 24 lbs each compared to the 23 lbs steel wheel if I'm not mistaken, then added is the wider tire weight. Handling is greatly improved, the acceleration is a bit sluggish though and I noticed the gas mileage got sucky . (225/55/17)
