The long road and many chances to my Bugeye.

Here is my car's story:

My original plan was to get a Aspen STi. I found a bugeye for cheap and decided i can used the extra money for modifications.

So i bought the car July of 07. It was in a front end collision. Sold for cheap. Around 9k i spend almost an extra 2k fixing it.

Now with over 13-14k invested in less than a year a hit a point where i am actually happy with the look and performance, minus the suspension which i am still trying to figure out what to get.

It by no means is a beauty or show queen but not to bad now. I know about the hood not closing the FMIC pipe is holding it up and i need to fix it.

Let me know what you think.

Okay.......this hood......... was the previous owners doing. I searched for a stock hood for over 1 month with no avail. So that is the reason otherwise i would of never. Car is basically STG2 and at this time using a AP.

Had a VF39 Roadtuned maybe a month before these pics were taken.
These pictures it had a VF34 Protuned, Header, Inlet etc.

These pics the 20g, Tial-44 setup, full bolt on at this point.
Started liking the OEM more and more. Seibon RS hood was also on.
Stock 05 wheels i painted a dark gold.

Put the stock hood back on and an 07 rex trunk debadged, shaved, and with a Limited spoiler. Oh yea got Prodrive P7s w/ Kumho 225s MX on there. Did find the stock side markers yet.

New SPT 3 piece front lip and painted skirts.

So finally the last step is im getting the MAIC paint extraordinaire to spray her flat WRB with the splitters being flat black.

Paint the pieces by the headlights blue and then leave it becasue it is perfect..

Looks a lot better nowadays except I still think the painted headlights don't look great anymore. It's almost jdm/edm or bust for them.

Yea but 1300 to do EDM headlights correctly. (litewerks)

That could go towards a Green or Dom 3.0r.

Your car is PERFECT. And damn I want a bug eye front end. Your in school, I dont understand how someone in school can afford to do all that to a car

No i am going back to school. I currently work until Sept.

Then going back to school full-time. The 8k i dropped in the tranny, clutch, fly, and mount hurt pretty bad though.
