Default Glowshift WRX center gauge cluster?

I did search.

Anyone has this gauge pod in your car? $45 shipped sounds too good to be true and wonder if anyone has any opinion about the quality of this gauge pod.

I already placed an order for WRXtra gauge pod for $120 plus shipping, but they are having delay in shipping it out.

Thanks,

I have it...

The mounting system they give you with it to use is a joke... I ended up mounting it with black RTV.... came out pretty decent. This also helped cover up the fact that it doesn't fit the opening perfectly but if I have to remove it to access a gauge it's going to suck!

Next time I would spend the extra for a nice pod... the glowshift doesn't have the over hanging lip to help block sunlight either so the gauges get washed out sometimes during the day.

It does have a flat surface on top, which worked good to mount my NGK Wideband... but this is hardly a plus .. or negative for most people....

However, now that I worked around it's flaws, I'll stick with it... it's not like it's bad enough that I had to get something else... and it was in fact very cheap.....

Thanks for your input on this. Glad I ordered WRXtra gauge pod, but the shipping delay is just unbearable...

I've had very good luck with the glow shift center pod actually. The mounting worked perfect, not sure how anyone could fault it, but basically there are 2 angle brackets you screw into the stock holes, and then the pod screws into those.

The biggest thing that I liked is that it DIDN'T have the big lip on top, it is probably one of the best center pods that looks factory and completely unassuming.
