Racecomp Engineering Tarmac 2 coilovers are comprised of stainless steel dampers mated to linear race springs, incorporating a 2 way design with separate compression and rebound adjustments, motorsports level spring rates, composite locking perches with safety perches added, piggyback reservoirs on all front dampers, and will feature a limited lifetime warranty. Racecomp Engineering and KW Suspension have jointly worked on and added many differentiating options and features to the design of an already tried and proven damper. After emerging as an exceptional knowledge resource for Impreza suspension applications through years of first hand experience with nearly every suspension option available for the Subaru Impreza, Racecomp Engineering can now provide their own solution that truly caters to the core of Subaru track day and race enthusiasts.
2008 WRX STI KW Clubsport Coilovers
These are a true 2008 STi Impreza fitment with valving and spring rates specific to the completely new 2008 chassis. These are not cobbled together from existing parts. These are designed from the ground up to provide a track worthy, easily serviceable and long lasting threaded body coilover suspension system for the 2008 STi. These coilovers feature the same inox line stainless steel corrosion resistant construction as previous versions of KW suspensions. Spring rates are 8kg front and 8kg rear. These are aggressively valved, 2 way adjustable, performance coilovers. These are valved more aggressively then the standard KW Variant 3s that are due out in May.
The highly anticipated Super Sport Street/Track Springs, an OEM replacement spring for 2004-2007 Subaru WRX STi from Racecomp Engineering. Designed for use with standard STi inverted struts or Ohlins Fixed Perch Replacement Struts, these springs are intended for both the daily driven street driver as well as the autocross and track day weekend warrior. Finally, after years of being the authority on Subaru suspension options for everyone from the daily driver to the professional racer, Racecomp Engineering can now provide their own solution to owners looking for the ultimate OEM replacement spring for their Subaru Impreza WRX STi. Using the very popular JDM STi springs that we brought to the U.S. market in mid 2003 as the benchmark, Racecomp focused on improving on track and autocross performance, while maintaining acceptable ride quality. Extensive research, design, and testing was performed to develop a completely new spring unlike anything currently available. With springs rates increased approximately 25% stiffer then the popular JDM Pink Springs, the springs are perfect for those with wider tires worried about rubbing, as well those looking for a little more rear spring rate to promote a more neutral handling characteristic. Much care was taken not to exceed the limits of the stock struts. The mildly progressive design and spring rates properly matched with the dampers ensure that ride quality is not diminished over stock. The car is lowered 20mm in the rear and 23mm in the front for an even look.

Introducing the RCE Regular Guy Springs (RCE Blacks), an OEM replacement spring for 2004-2007 Subaru WRX STi and the next in the Racecomp Engineering growing line of performance springs for Subaru Impreza, Subaru Legacy, and Mitsubishi Evolution. Designed for use with standard STi inverted struts or Ohlins Fixed Perch Replacement Struts, these springs are intended for both the daily driven street driver as well as the autocross and track day weekend warrior. Using similar spring rates as the extremely popular and successful RCE Yellow Springs, but having a much more subtle/mild drop in comparison, these are perfect for STi owners not looking for a ride height much lower then stock, and yet are still looking for increased spring rates. Spring rates are still 10% stiffer then JDM Pinks with an emphasis on the rear rate, so you will still be outpacing just about everything on the track and auto-x course.
Finally, an option exists for Subaru WRX Wagon owners with upgraded struts! Rather then having to choose between spring rates that are too soft, like most wagon specific springs, and a saggy rear end, like most sedan specific springs, Racecomp Engineering is proud to announce an OEM replacement spring for the Subaru WRX Wagon. Designed for use with standard STi inverted struts, Koni Inserts, Tokico D-Spec struts or Ohlins Fixed Perch Replacement struts, these springs are intended for both the daily driven street driver as well as the autocross and track day weekend warrior. Using similar spring rates as the extremely popular and successful RCE Yellow Springs, but having a wagon specific ride height, these are perfect for wagon owners not looking to compromise either ride height or spring rates.
