Post Where can I get my springs installed in the Waterbury area?

Hey guys, where is good place to get my springs installed around here for a good price? I'll drive as far as Danbury, New Haven, or Hartford if someone knows a good place. Thanks for the help!!

Springs are easy... you can do them yourself or get a friend to help. No fancy tools needed. You'll just have to get an alignment afterwards. But, if your bent on paing for someone to install them, Modeleski's (spelling?) in Danbury is excellent. They'll do the alignment too.

All go, no show.

Have a Nice Day?

hmmm, my experience with Pruven has been less favorable. They installed an amp and an alarm for me, and both were done incorrectly or incompletely. Hopefully they resolve the situation painlessly this weekend, but I am a bit dissapointed.

Craig Damasci (sp?) is the guy at Acceleration Plus, they are actually in Rocky Hill.

Anyway we are in Fairfield, CT at the train station. We would be happy to install your springs but the labor is going to be in the $550-600 area, they really aren't that hard to install yourself especially if you have a knowledgable friend with you (i.e. someone who has done it before.) Necessary tools include an impact gun or an "o" ratchet and a spring compressor, 4 jackstands, something to cut the brake line clips with (preferably a die grinder) and a large amount of patience. Also take your time, use a hole weekend if you have to because I guarantee that you don't want to do the job twice.

I think there's a shop in Fairfield that uses this board all the time. I just can't remember for the life of me what their name is.

I know, this post didn't help you at all, but maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about and will post their name.

Well guys, I talk to Craig at Acc. Pluss, and he said it would take 3-4 hours at $65. Thats $195-$260!!! Does it really take that long? I dont want to pay that much! 2 hours would be fine, but thats a lot. So what should I do?

Default Sounds a little pricey to me...

Last time I was there, it was $50 and it only took 3 hours to do. See, if he will do it for $150, that is if you're willing to pay that much.
