Default E brake signal wire?

Hey I am installing a hks turbo timer type 1 on a '07 Sti and I cannot find this pink wire under the carpet as stated in other forums. I found a redish wire that goes into a module with a white wire next to the e brake.
Also there is a black /w stripe attached to e brake lever.

Any help?

take pics & post them up..... don't know if they've changed the color of the wire over the years, but I thought it was pink.

Normally the E-brake switch makes a ground connection when the handle is pulled up.
