Default Adjustable Headlight Not Working

This is on a 06 sti. I can adjust the left side works perfectly fine, but right side does not move at all. Is there are a motor or something that controls it?

BTW : Nothing has been modded on the headlight and both HID works.
Thx

yes, there is a motor inside your headlight. check the connection on the back of the headlight housing, it may have gotten some water/other crap in there.

hmm thats a tough one. before thinking about buying a new motor, you should check for voltage around the connectors and such. dont assume the motor is broken until you have done some testing.

even if you did find one, you would have to bake and open up the headlights to access the motors.. it will be a pain in the arse

When i had 04' STI HID's on my car with the leveling motors, i think *not sure* but think the motors were on the back of the light, they attach on the inside, but could *possibly* be replaced from the back?

Please correct me if im wrong

06 ? It's under warranty, bring it to the dealer and get them to check it out.

The 06 headlights leveling motor has a 3 pin harness that connects to it. Ensure it is clean and well connected.

You would need to open the headlight up in order to remove the leveling motor (sadly..)
