This kind of give syou an idea of how the swirls were, as well as the scratches on this dent.

Came out very nice though. Took 2 of us 6 hours total on this Car.

Civic got some loving too.

Depends, some clays are more aggressive than others and meet different needs.

If you have a friend in Canada who can get you some of this... http://www.eshine.ca/riccardo_clay_o...ow_8oz-300.php it's rocks hard.

Locally, I find Clay Magic and Meguiars clay to be pretty alright. I don't like the Mothers clay though.

Best clay I've every used is AutoMagic...it blows away everything else, and comes in standard and medium. And Mothers does suck, it's way too soft.

I've heard of AutoMagic, but I've never heard any reviews of their stuff. Have you used anything aside from their clay?

oh, and I bought some Griots clay last night, so I'll post up before and after pics this weekend. Hopefully the rain stays away.

dental floss and a hair dryer to get them off.

goof off and some elbow grease to remove the residue
used the yellow pad to remove all of the scrates we put in the paint to get all the stuff off. probly was a littl eover kill, but i wanted to see how they work.

CCS foam buffing pads, foam polishing pads, lake country foam pads, foam polisher pads, buffer pads, lake county pads, porter cable pads, pads for air sander

worked very well.

then went over it with some Menzerna to help it out untill we can detail the whole car.

Blaze yellow Bruised Banana... this was a very hard detail. lots of scratches and swirls. as well as being a very bland yellow.

Tonight i did a 09 WRX in white added 8 shop lights all with 2 48" 40 watt bulbs, 1000 watts of portable halogens, and another 500watt flood light i use for spot checks.

just need to get the cars outin the Sunlight to get some better angles.

this stuff is pretty nice, Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax.

there is a sale going on right now, 2 for 100. Normally it is 175 each, and you have to mail in for a refill.

http://www.autogeek.net/wolfgang-fuz...r-car-wax.html

and i am looking in to some of the Dodo Juice Pur Carnauba waxes for specific paint colors.

They look great.... but I'd rather shoot myself in the testicles than spend 6 hours washing my car.

lol, there was well over 8 hours on the yellow car. and there were about 12 on the white car.

Some people are okey with the mentality of, "i wash my car once a year, if it needes it or not."

Then there are those of us who wash our cars a minimum of every other week, sun, rain, or snow.
