Default Tanabe Super Racing Medallion

So where can I get a good deal on a Tanabe Super Racing Medallion for a 2002 WRX? Who has it actually in stock? What has the best prices along w/ service? I was looking between the ApexI N1 and Tanabe SRM but the N1 has yet to come out and I "heard" the Tanabe SRM sounds mean .

Try Options Auto Salon. They sell them for around $560

Default Humm ...

I'm looking for the Racing Medallion NOT the Super Medallion . It seems that the best deal so far is $535 shipped for the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion ... does anyone else offer a better deal?

Basically is the looks and a little sound. I personally prefer the SRM rather than the SHM ... just a different look. Some people say it's more ricey but all I have to say is "You wanna go then?" .

It seems to me that a majoity of the Cat-back section for the 02 WRX looks the same ... I guess I'm just being picky. My theory is ... if you're gonna spend the money then as least get something NOT like everyone else.

Default Nope ...

There is the Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion and the Tanabe Super Racing Medallion. Bascially the difference is between the Hyper & Racing version ... I like how the Racing one looks however it's also the one that cost a little more . The Hyper Medallion looks too common like another exhaust. I think the Racing Medallion looks cool because it's different. I just like how the Tanabe has the straightest design next to the N1. Are there any other exhausts w/ a really straight design? I can't believe the prices went up .

Default Humm ...

Do you have more info and pics on the Kakimoto? Is it a Catback or whole turboback? How much does it weight, what materials, is it a direct bolt on, how loud, cost, etc? Thanks.

Default Re: Humm ...

Kakimoto is the lightest weight catback...also 80mm...and straightest design. Only thing that you might not like is that it's a jdm catback so it won't fit upto your stock downpipe. god sells them for 650 minus the silencer. Expensive but it's VERY high quality. Kakimoto is a pretty well known name in Japan. There's also a titanium version which is a little more expensive also. I would say performance wise this is the best catback out there. I've heard it's VERY loud. To my knowledge god is the only person that makes a jdm downpipe to mate up to the kakimoto, but its catless (and I know you want a cat).

I got my Super Racing Medallion from Bottle at Titan, much cheaper than the prices you listed here. IMHO the best looking and sounding cat-back on the market right now.

Thanks for the info however I just gave Bottle a ring and they too were back-ordered until the end of this month like the majority of the other dealers. They wanted $560 shipped? I'm hoping for something in the range of $500 shipped. Shopping is fun.
Actually the ApexI N1's still look sweet to me. However they have yet to come out w/ a setup for the 2002 WRX. Unless someone knows something I don't?

Hey, At www.groupbuycenter.com there was a dealer selling them for $500 shipped, but is now out of them for the wrx. I was going to get one but was too late. He may rerun it later. check there and you might be able to contact him to see if he can get it for you. BTW, he edited out the listing for the wrx one, due to running out. But yes, he was carrying it.

Do you remember who the specific dealer was? I did a search and there was nothing for the WRX? Sent an email to "Tuning Garage" asking about the Tanabe SRM and also some other companies asking about the ApexI N1. $500 shipped for a Cat back I can deal with ... ... less would be even better.
