I've been down it a few times. Just wondering is all. I haven't really had a chance to take the sti in sand yet.
Ill probably just stay in port A instead. But thanks.

Speaking of CCM, believe it or not CC will host CCM 17! Everything is TBA, but it should be awesome....hopefully. It is Corpus after all . Lets make a good impression on CCM world!

I hate to say it, but unless all of the nice American muscle cars come out, this show will suck ass. The import scene in Corpus Christi is atrocious. The city is dirty and Texans only come here to retire and die. Honestly, do you really think this city is better than Austin? Get real.

Bringing this show to Corpus was a terrible decision, it makes Texas look bad. Unless some cars from Houston, San Antonio, Dallas or Austin come down, this is going to be an embarrassment.

I was talking with my buddy the other day. He has a supercharged S2k and a 700+ (soon to be 900+) WHP turbo S2k. We talked about how the scene here in Corpus has died. It wasn't great when I got here in 2009 and it has only gotten worse. I'm not blaming the people or trying to call anyone out, it's just the simple truth. People here don't know how to make nice cars or show ready cars. Don't get me wrong, there are a handful of nice cars that can make a local meet look ok. But we can't even come close to comparing to any of the cities I mentioned before, they will have HUNDREDS of amazing looking show ready cars come out and won't even need much notice to prepare. Look at Sunworks, or 16Niss. Corpus Christi cannot compare to those two teams alone, we better hope those kinds of teams come out and come out in force.

Hopefully those two teams will show, I'm pretty sure Wayne and the rest of 16niss will be there. CCM usually brings the crews down, and I agree that the car scene here does not compare to the other big cities. But with that being said, the owners and cars that are top notch in the city need to help represent the area at this first CCM. I know I will do my best to show what the local scene here is all about.

This ain't a premiere car show though. Actually, its not even a car show. There are no judges and trophies aren't given. CCM isn't like Wekfest, HIN, etc. It's more for charity. Import scene does suck and it would probably be an embarrassment to the city if those beat up cars are parked up front.

Whats wrong with my beat up Subaru? LOL If I'm able to I will be bringing my Jeep if I have it running in time. Sourced the transmission I have been wanting and found it for only $250 +$150 freight. Going to send him the money on Monday after I get paid. Depending on when the CCM is will determine which vehicle I go in.

Oh yeah I know all that, I'm just hoping more than our import scene comes out. There is a small number of exotics, classics and well built cars here that could make a good 'row of local cars.' For the most part though, lots of Cupcake Meets have a large gathering of very nice cars.

Sooooo.....why does our part of TXIC traffic so low? Is it because everyone is on the local Facebook Subie page? I'm surprised none of the new guys have gotten together around town.

I understand that we all have personel lives and I also believe we're not as small as we used to be either. Our section can go months with out a post and when someone new posts up, they usually want to meet up and nothing happens. So I'm wondering if the new members give up or just go elsewhere?
