FEEL THE LOVE

Default Dog Lovers: Pit Bull needs home

My good friend is going out of the country to work for an extended period of time and unfortunately, she can't travel with her beautiful pit bull. The dog was just taken to the Delaware County SPCA in Media, PA yesterday http://delcospca.org/about/ . It breaks her heart but she has no family in the area able to care for the dog and her housing arrangements in Taiwan will not allow for any pets at all. I can't have a dog this size where I live but I'd take him in given the chance. This dog is great if you are looking to adopt one. He is a sweetheart! Great with kids! Gets along with other dogs but gets too hyperactive and it is better he is the ONLY dog in a household. KEEP CATS FAR AWAY. Please pass this information on to any dedicated pit lover you know willing to help out.

Beautiful looking red nose. I'll see if I can take him but it's not likely. I hope he goes to a good home.

I definitely can, I sent my friend a message for specific info. I'll post once I have it. I only hope for a good home, I'd hate some idiot trying to beat this dog in to a fighter.

Here's the additional info:
Male, 2.5 yrs old, neutered, rabies shots 6 months ago, and is protected by a microchip tracking device. The dog was originally adopted from the SPCA but due to the change in career path my friend had to return him per the contract. She could not give him away to any one even if she wanted to, the adoption must be done legally through the SPCA.

I already forwarded the info to someone who is on a pit bull forum.

he is an absolute BEAUTIFUL dog. I have 2 pits of my own or would take him in a minute. My sister just lost a dog due to cancer and may be interested in him as a replacement i'll check with her and see.

bumping for a good looking dog. We have two cats, so the dog wouldn't fit into the household.
