Default sti built ????

just wondering if anybody knows if i can use a 98 subaru outback 2.5 dohc n/a block in my sti if i bore it to specs. (gaskets, oil pump, oil pan, water pump etc. work?)

Trying to downgrade or something?
(gaskets, oil pump, oil pan, water pump etc. work?)-Yes it will fit.

That model of 2.5L block has open deck design............dont bother.
