Default Cigarette lighter fuse blew!

i was messing with my boost gauge when setting it up and stuck the wires in the cig lighter below the ac controls. sparked a couple times then blew. i need this for my radar so if anyone could pinpoint the easiest way to get in there and where can i get a replacement?

did you check the regular fuses? this would be a good place to start, I cant remember if that model has a fuse at the cig. lighter.

oh yeah and your car has spares in the box under the hood. any autoparts store and some gas stations will have more if your out.

the fuse box does indeed have a fuse for the cig lighter.. .check the manual for the proper fuse..

the cig lighter itself also has a fusable link in it.. if you blew that, you need to replace the entire lighter socket. (at least that's the case with my '06)

i was hooking up my Valentine 1 and i blew the fuse in the fuse box...simple to replace

Just FYI, if it's the same across the years, your side view mirrors should be out as well
