Default ej22 auto to manual transmission swap

i just got a automatic 98 ej22 impreza. and i want to swap in a manual tranny. what do i need and what do i need to do to complete the swap.. thank you

And I'm just going to say this too... are there any other manual Impreza's around where you live? Maybe you could sell the one you have and pick up another. I find doing auto to manual swaps to be kinda expensive.

Just find an impreza with a 5 spd (unless you want to do the work).

My old 2001 silver RS was a 5 spd.
