Running EJ257 heads non-avcs

If i am wanting to run the 257 heads on sti block "non-avcs" so as to not switch ECU's can i just block off the oil holes in the intake cams or is there more that has to be done?

so thats all that needs to be done? for the STi heads, not just cams? cool

if you have complete ej257 heads (cams and all)

Just put the heads on the car with AVCS cam gears.

Or, plug the holes in the sti cams.

that's it!

oh and I forgot one thing, you are going to need the cam sensor adapter that cosworth offers.
I know someone else makes one as well.
