Question Good Mechanic in Portland, OR

Hey all,
Where do you have your Subie serviced/worked on in the PDX area? I am coming up on the 30k service and wanted to know where the best place to take it is. I know the 30k is pretty basic, but I am preparing for the bigger 60k service down the road and want to establish a relationship with a good mechanic. I have had good experience with the service at Carr. TIA!!

I don't think you'll find someone better than Carr.

Ditto. Kinda hard to find mechanics who specialize in Subarus, plus I trust Carr, so that's where I'm taking mine for work.

Thanks guys... yeah, come and look me up (Bernie) and I'll see what I can do to help you out.

As for the rest of you... Did you get the SPEC newsletter and the corrections?

Go to CARR and ask for Danny. He's the best mechanic they have.

Even though you already have lots of advice, I will add my vote for CARR as well. Bob is ultra cool, and they always did right by me while I was out there. Best service department I have EVER experienced.
