I'm at 105,000 miles so I have to do the timing belt, other belts, water pump and a tune up. I'd do the clutch too if the price were right. Thanks man...

Even though its a dealership, I have had nothing but good work and success at Cascade Subaru in Wenatchee. I am sure there are independant subaru shops in or around there too. Subarus are all over that town.

How good of a wrench are you? You should do your fuel filter, plugs, v-belts and air filter (if you dont have an aftermarket intake) in terms of a tune up. Trans/Diff fluid wouldn't be a bad idea either if those havn't already been changed. Everything but the plugs is super easy. And is your clutch slipping? no point replacing a good part.

Default Thanks Boys

Alright boys, that's good advice. I'm surprised to hear that a dealership can do the for the right price, but to do it adequately and better is a plus. Not too good with a wrench '06' and, while wer're on the subject, 'joshua' asked about the large text. What's with it is that it's easier for me to see. I'm mostly blind 'josh'. I bought the car used for my 17 boy and while he's paying me back - I'm figuring out repairs. That explains 'ginormous'.

Default Try H&D

I have an older Legacy and I have taken my car there quite a few times. I highly recommend these guys. These guys specialize in Subarus and they have great prices. They are located in the South end of Wenatchee.

Thanks duffrey - personal recommendations seal the deal.

wrxty - I didn't mean to yell at you - just write so I could read it. I guess it bothers some people as it's large and feels like yelling or boasting or something. Don't personalize it - most people don't care and help me anyway. Look through some saran wrap with one eye and that's what everything looks like to me - so it's not about you.

Yeah, I'm not sure about H&D, but I can say that Cascade Autocenter has a fairly unreliable rep around here. Talk to joe r and Dane 509 about that, lol.

As far as others, I have no idea. I might try out H&D but I do most of my own stuff and anything I don't want to do myself I have, so far, taken to Smart Service on the Westside. Been working with them for over 5 years. It's a PITA, but until I find someone over here it'll be them.

I work for the Forest Service and have to drive up to Winthrop all the time so I know that driving to the Westside for maintenance is out of the question until N. Cascades opens back up.

Also, try Opera for a web browser...you can view the pages screen magnified to help you see better (that way you can do away with the text). Internet Exploiter might have that function now too, I don't know.

Also try pushing the control key and the + key. It will magnify just about anything you could want in any application...
