a/t shifter does not light up

ok, i checked the mitchells, all-data @ work, and i even took the cover plate off. how do i get a new bulb or bulbs into the a/t gear selector so i can see what im doing at night. 95 imp. outback 2.2

Im not 100 percent on this, but im pretty sure you remove the trim around the shifter, then remove the shifter itself, then you can pull the cover of where the gear selector is. There should be a pretty standard sized minibulb that can be found at an auto parts store in there.
