my car is dead...

ok, so my car just keeps dying. tested the battery, its good, tested the alternator, it's good. think it might be an electrical thing but not sure what. have a remote started and alarm on, have had them on for a while now, but not sure where it's running to so can't unplug it to see if that's the actual problem, never did this before. car will sit for a while then start right up and run fine, but eventually always dies again and is down for a WHILE. occasionally, stepping on the brakes makes the radio turn off then back on. the lights dim if I have the wipers on, no interior lights at all, can't run the ac cause the car will definitely die. I know it's electrical, just can't figure it the hell out. Any suggestions?

what did you do to check the battery?
what did you do to check the alternator?
I am almost positive this is a bad alternator problem. Or an extreme case of corrosion.
